Anti-SMAD2 (phospho S465 + S467) + SMAD3 (phospho S423 + S425) Antibody

This polyclonal primary antibody from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit and detects the receptor-phosphorylated forms of both SMAD2 (at serine 465 and serine 467) and SMAD3 (at serine 423 and serine 425), the canonical C-terminal phosphorylation sites installed by the activated TGF-β type I receptor. Because it recognizes two activated R-SMADs in a single reagent, it is well suited to tracking ligand-driven TGF-β pathway engagement in western blot experiments using human and mouse samples.

The reagent is supplied as 50 µl of unconjugated IgG and is validated for WB. Aliquoting upon arrival and storage at -20 °C is recommended to preserve phospho-epitope binding activity, with limited freeze-thaw cycles.
