Anti-Smad2 (P459) Antibody

Supplied by Antibodies.com as a Primary Antibody, this is a rabbit polyclonal antibody targeting Smad2 at residue P459. The unconjugated reagent is raised in rabbit and validated for use in Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and immunofluorescence (IF) applications. It reacts with human, mouse, and rat samples and detects endogenous levels of Smad2 protein.

The antibody was generated against a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 426–476 of human Smad2 and affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, with a purity greater than 95% by SDS-PAGE. The target protein has a molecular weight of approximately 60 kDa.

The product is supplied as a liquid at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2.
