Anti-Smad2/3 (S2) Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this Rabbit polyclonal antibody targets Smad2/3 (S2) and is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications. The unconjugated antibody is raised in Rabbit and is reactive with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples.

It is supplied at 1 mg/ml in Phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 15 mM sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2. The immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to the N-terminal of Human Smad2, and the antibody specifically detects endogenous levels of Smad2 and Smad3 protein, with a molecular weight of approximately 55,60 kDa.

The antibody is affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen, achieving a purity of greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
