Anti-Smad2/3 (phospho-T8) Antibody

Rabbit polyclonal antibody to Smad2/3 (phospho-T8) from Antibodies.com, raised in Rabbit and validated for Western Blot (WB) applications. The unconjugated primary antibody is reactive with Human, Mouse and Rat samples and recognises the Smad2 target.

The reagent is supplied at 1 mg/ml in Phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 15 mM sodium azide, approx. pH 7.2. The immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human Smad2/3 around the phosphorylation site of Threonine 8. Specificity: p-Smad2/3 (T8) pAb detects endogenous levels of Smad2/3 protein only when phosphorylated at Thr8. The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, with a purity of > 95% (by SDS-PAGE). The predicted molecular weight is ~ 55,60 kDa.
