Anti-Smad1 (phospho-S465) Antibody

This primary antibody from Antibodies.com is a rabbit polyclonal reagent raised against Smad1 (phospho-S465). It specifically detects endogenous levels of Smad1 protein only when phosphorylated at Serine 465, and was generated using a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human Smad1 around the phosphorylation site of Serine 465.

The unconjugated antibody is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications and reacts with human, mouse and rat samples. It is supplied as 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2, and was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen to a purity greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE. The target protein has a molecular weight of approximately 60 kDa, and the product is supported by two scientific validation images.
