Anti-SMAD1 (phospho S206) Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against Smad1 phosphorylated at Ser206 is available from Antibodies.com as a Primary Antibody for research use. The unconjugated IgG reagent is supplied as a liquid and is validated for Western blot at recommended dilutions of 1:500–1:1,000.

The immunogen is a synthetic phosphorylated peptide around S206 of human Smad1 (NP_005891.1), with the peptide sequence PHSPT, and the antibody has been affinity purified. The observed molecular weight is 60 kDa. Reactivity has been confirmed in Human, Mouse and Rat samples, and a representative Western blot validation image has been generated using C6 cells treated by UV at room temperature for 15–30 minutes, with lysates loaded at 25µg per lane and detection performed with an ECL Basic Kit.

The formulation is Phosphate Buffered Saline, pH 7.3, with 50% Glycerol and 0.05% Proclin 300. The product is shipped at 4°C; upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, avoiding freeze/thaw cycles. Concentration is lot specific.
