Anti-Smad1 (phospho-S187) Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets Smad1 when phosphorylated at Serine 187. It is validated for Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), immunocytochemistry (ICC) and immunoprecipitation (IP), and reacts with Human, Mouse and Rat samples. Supplied as an unconjugated reagent, it was raised against a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human Smad1 around the Ser187 phosphorylation site and detects endogenous Smad1 only when phosphorylated at Ser187. The product is provided at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2. The antibody has been affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum using epitope-specific immunogen, with a stated purity greater than 95% by SDS-PAGE, and recognises the target at an apparent molecular weight of approximately 60 kDa.
