Anti-SMAD1 Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal antibody to SMAD1 is available from Antibodies.com as an unconjugated IgG reagent. It has been validated for Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC) and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), and it reacts with Human, Mouse and Rat samples.

The antibody was raised against a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 20–240 of human Smad1 (NP_001003688.1). The target protein has a reported molecular weight of 60 kDa. Recommended starting dilutions are WB 1:500–1:1,000, IHC 1:50–1:200 and ICC/IF 1:50–1:200. The product is affinity purified and supplied as a liquid in phosphate buffered saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide.

It is shipped at 4 °C and, on receipt, should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
