Raised in rabbit, this unconjugated polyclonal antibody recognizes SLP-76 (also called LCP2), a ~76 kDa adapter protein that couples T-cell receptor engagement to downstream signaling cascades such as PLC-gamma1, NF-AT, and Ras/MAPK activation. Distributed by Antibodies.com as a 50 ul vial at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2, the reagent is validated for Western blot detection across human, mouse, and rat samples. SLP-76 is widely expressed in lymphocytes, platelets, and mast cells, where its SH2 domain coordinates cytoskeletal reorganization and granule release through interactions with binding partners such as FYB, VAV, and NCK.

For Western blot work, the antibody is suitable for probing endogenous SLP-76 in standard reducing SDS-PAGE workflows, with Jurkat T-cell lysate commonly used as a positive control for the expected 76 kDa band. Keep the vial refrigerated; the sodium azide preservative prevents microbial growth so the reagent can be reused across many experiments without freezing. Briefly centrifuge before opening to recover full volume from the cap, and aliquot if extended storage is needed to limit freeze-thaw cycles.
