Anti-SLC9A6 Antibody

Rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against SLC9A6 (solute carrier family 9 member A6), the endosomal Na⁺/H⁺ exchanger also known as NHE6. Supplied by Antibodies.com as an unconjugated reagent at 1 mg/ml in a 100 µl vial of phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide, pH ~7.2. Validated for Western blot detection of endogenous SLC9A6 in human, mouse, and rat samples.

SLC9A6 is widely expressed in neurons and localises to early and recycling endosomes, where it contributes to luminal pH regulation, cargo sorting, and receptor trafficking. Loss-of-function mutations in the X-linked SLC9A6 gene cause Christianson syndrome, an early-onset neurodevelopmental disorder characterised by intellectual disability, ataxia, epilepsy, and autistic features. Researchers studying endosomal maturation, organellar ion homeostasis, and neurodegenerative disease mechanisms routinely probe NHE6 expression and subcellular distribution with this reagent.
