Anti-SLC8A1 Antibody

Produced by Antibodies.com as a rabbit polyclonal reagent for the detection of SLC8A1 (also known as NCX1, the sodium/calcium exchanger 1), this primary antibody is raised against a synthetic peptide derived from the human SLC8A1 sequence and recognizes endogenous levels of the total target protein. It is supplied in an unconjugated format at approximately 1 mg/mL in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS, pH ~7.2) containing 0.05% sodium azide, and the immunoglobulin isotype is rabbit IgG. The antibody is validated for Western blot (WB) applications and has been shown to react with human, mouse, and rat samples, making it suitable for cross-species studies of cardiac and other tissues where NCX1-mediated calcium extrusion is of interest. Shipped refrigerated on blue ice, the vial should be aliquoted upon arrival and stored at –20 °C for long-term use, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve reagent performance.
