Anti-SLC6A1 Antibody

SLC6A1 encodes the GABA transporter 1 (GAT-1), a sodium-dependent neuronal membrane protein responsible for reuptake of the inhibitory neurotransmitter GABA from the synaptic cleft, making it a target of interest in studies of inhibitory neurotransmission, epilepsy, and SLC6A1-linked neurodevelopmental disorders.

The reagent is supplied in a 100 µl liquid aliquot and detects endogenous human SLC6A1 in cell lysates by Western blot or in fixed tissue sections by immunohistochemistry.
