Anti-SLC4A5 Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody is raised against SLC4A5 and is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications. It reacts with Human, Mouse and Rat samples. The antibody is unconjugated and of the IgG isotype, supplied as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide, and purified by affinity chromatography. The target has a molecular weight of 110 kDa and the concentration is lot specific.

It was generated using a recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 1042–1121 of human SLC4A5 (NP_597812.1), with the immunogen sequence DFIFSQHDLAWIDNILPEKEKKETDKKRKRKKGAHEDCDEEPQFPPPSVIKIPMESVQSDPQNGIHCIARKRSSSWSYSL. Recommended dilutions are WB: 1:500–1:2,000 and IHC: 1:50–1:200. The product is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at –20°C upon delivery, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided. Representative validation images accompany the product, including Western blot analysis of various cell line extracts (antibody at 1:1,000; 25 µg lysate per lane; 3% non-fat dry milk in TBST blocking buffer; ECL Basic Kit detection; 15 s exposure), and IHC staining of paraffin-embedded rat liver, rat kidney and human liver tissue at 1:100 dilution (40x lens) with microwave antigen retrieval using 10 mM PBS buffer pH 7.2.
