Anti-SLC39A14 Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com recognises SLC39A14, also known as ZIP-14, a member of the solute carrier family 39. The unconjugated IgG reagent is supplied as a liquid at a lot-specific concentration and has been validated for Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, and Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence, with confirmed reactivity against Human, Mouse, and Rat samples.

The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 31–157 of human ZIP14 (NP_001121903.1), and the antibody is prepared by affinity purification. It is formulated in Phosphate Buffered Saline at pH 7.3, containing 50% glycerol and 0.05% Proclin 300, and the target protein is reported at a molecular weight of 54 kDa. Recommended starting dilutions are 1:500–1:1,000 for WB, 1:50–1:200 for IHC, and 1:50–1:200 for ICC/IF.

The SLC39A14 target is a transmembrane transporter localised to the endoplasmic reticulum, Golgi apparatus, and plasma membrane, with tissue-enhanced expression in liver and pancreas. The antibody is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C upon delivery, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
