Anti-SLC2A1 Antibody

Offered by Antibodies.com, this Rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against a synthetic peptide corresponding to residues near the N-terminus of human solute carrier family 2 (facilitated glucose transporter), member 1, and it specifically recognises the endogenous levels of total SLC2A1 protein (also known as GLUT-1, the HepG2 glucose transporter, or the erythrocyte/brain glucose transporter type 1). The antibody is supplied as an unconjugated, antigen affinity-purified polyclonal at 1.7 mg/mL in 100 µl of PBS, pH 7.3, containing 0.05% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, and it is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) on human samples. Shipping is performed at 4 °C; upon receipt the vial should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity.
