Anti-SLC2A1 Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal reagent targets the SLC2A1 transporter (also known as GLUT-1, the erythrocyte/brain glucose transporter) and is supplied as a 100 µl aliquot at a concentration of 1.0 mg/mL. The antibody is unconjugated and antigen affinity purified, formulated in phosphate-buffered saline at pH 7.3 with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, and is of the IgG isotype. It was raised against a recombinant fragment of human Solute carrier family 2, facilitated glucose transporter member 1 corresponding to residues 210–310, and detects endogenous levels of total SLC2A1 in human samples. The reagent has been validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) workflows, with WB data showing a predicted and observed band at approximately 54 kDa in HeLa whole cell lysate, and IHC staining demonstrated on paraffin-embedded human cervical and ovarian cancer tissue at a 1:100 dilution. It is shipped on cold packs at 4 °C and should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C upon arrival, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity.
