Anti-SLC25A21 Antibody

Produced in rabbit as an unconjugated polyclonal reagent, this Antibodies.com primary antibody targets the SLC25A21 mitochondrial carrier for western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows on human, mouse and rat samples. SLC25A21 encodes the mitochondrial 2-oxodicarboxylate carrier, an inner-membrane transporter that moves C5-C7 oxo- and hydroxy-dicarboxylates such as 2-oxoglutarate, adipate and 2-oxoadipate across the mitochondrial membrane, supporting lysine catabolism and NAD-dependent redox exchange between cytosol and matrix. The 100 µl liquid vial is supplied unconjugated for flexible assay design and is used by laboratories characterizing mitochondrial transport, Krebs-cycle intermediate flux, or the metabolic basis of disorders such as 2-ketoadipic acidemia.
