Anti-SLC1A1 Antibody

This polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit and targets SLC1A1, also known as EAAT3. It is of the IgG isotype and supplied unconjugated. The reagent reacts with Human, Mouse and Rat samples and has been validated for Western blot (WB) and immunofluorescence applications, including immunocytochemistry (ICC/IF).

The immunogen used to generate the antibody is a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 115–204 of human SLC1A1 (NP_004161.4). The product is supplied as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline at pH 7.3, containing 50% glycerol and 0.05% Proclin 300, and is purified by affinity chromatography. The reported molecular weight of the target is 70 kDa.

Recommended dilutions are WB at 1:500–1:1,000 and ICC/IF at 1:50–1:200. Concentration is reported as lot specific. The antibody is shipped at 4°C; upon receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
