A polyclonal antibody raised in rabbit against the human SLC19A3 thiamine transporter, supplied by Antibodies.com as an unconjugated IgG preparation in a 200 µl volume. SLC19A3 encodes a membrane-bound carrier responsible for cellular uptake of thiamine (vitamin B1), and pathogenic variants in this gene are linked to biotin-thiamine-responsive basal ganglia disease and Wernicke-like encephalopathy. The reagent is intended for western blot detection of endogenous SLC19A3 protein in human cell and tissue lysates, supporting studies of solute carrier transport biology, neurological disease mechanisms, and cellular vitamin metabolism. As a host species-matched IgG polyclonal, it tolerates a range of standard immunoblotting workflows and is reactive with human samples, where it can be paired with HRP-conjugated or fluorescent secondary antibodies for chemiluminescent or imaging-based readouts. The unconjugated format offers flexibility for downstream labeling, and the 200 µl pack size is sufficient for multiple blotting experiments when titrated against representative lysates.
