SIRT3 is a mitochondrial NAD+-dependent deacetylase that regulates energy metabolism, fatty acid oxidation, and reactive oxygen species detoxification by modifying substrates such as MnSOD, IDH2, and GDH. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com was raised against SIRT3 and is validated for western blot and immunofluorescence workflows. It cross-reacts with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples, supporting comparative studies of mitochondrial biology, oxidative stress responses, and metabolic disease models. The antibody recognizes both the full-length (~44 kDa) precursor and the cleaved mature mitochondrial form (~28 kDa) of SIRT3, enabling detection of endogenous protein levels in cell lysates and subcellular localization in fixed cells and tissue sections by immunofluorescence. It is supplied as 100 µl of liquid and intended for research use only in laboratory settings.
