Anti-SIRT2 Antibody

Raised in rabbit and affinity-purified against a recombinant human SIRT2 immunogen, this polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com detects endogenous levels of total SIRT2 protein. The unconjugated antibody is supplied at 1.0 mg/mL in a 50 µl volume, formulated in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.4) containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol, without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺. It is validated for Western blotting (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) and cross-reacts with human, mouse, and rat specimens, making it suitable for comparative studies of sirtuin biology in cell and tissue lysates. Because the product is unconjugated, it pairs readily with a wide selection of HRP-, fluorophore-, or biotin-labeled secondary reagents for downstream detection. The vial is shipped at 4°C and, upon arrival, should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve binding activity.
