Affinity-purified rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent validated for western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) on human samples. Supplied from Antibodies.com as 50 µl of unconjugated antibody, it detects SIGLEC7 (Sialic acid-binding immunoglobulin-like lectin 7), a CD33-family inhibitory receptor expressed most prominently on natural killer (NK) cells and on subsets of monocytes and macrophages.

SIGLEC7 transduces inhibitory signals through immunoreceptor tyrosine-based inhibitory motif (ITIM) recruitment upon engagement of sialylated ligands on adjacent cells, making it a frequent target in studies of tumor immune evasion, NK cell education, and glycan-mediated immune regulation. Researchers use the antibody to probe human cell lysates for receptor expression and to localize SIGLEC7-positive immune cell populations within formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue sections.

The unconjugated format from Antibodies.com allows flexible pairing with HRP-, alkaline phosphatase-, or fluorophore-conjugated secondary reagents, and recommended starting dilutions for blotting and staining workflows are provided on the lot-specific product datasheet.
