Supplied by Antibodies.com, this recombinant rabbit monoclonal reagent targets the SHP1 phosphatase (also known as PTPN6, HCP, HCPH, SHP-1, PTP-1C and SH-PTP1) and is offered as an unconjugated IgG raised in rabbit. The antibody is validated for Western blot (WB), Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), Immunohistochemistry (IHC) and Flow cytometry (FC), and it has been verified to react with Human, Mouse and Rat samples, making it suitable for cross-species studies in hematopoietic, immunological and signalling research. Each vial contains 50 µL of the recombinant monoclonal antibody prepared in 1× TBS (pH 7.4) supplemented with 1% BSA and 40% glycerol, with 0.05% sodium azide added as preservative; the product should be stored according to the manufacturer's standard refrigerated conditions to preserve activity. SHP1 is a cytosolic protein-tyrosine phosphatase characterised by two N-terminal SH2 domains, and loss of its expression is commonly discussed in the context of T-cell lymphoma biology and B-cell lymphoma subtyping, where the antibody is frequently used as a marker in immunohistochemistry. As a recombinant monoclonal, the reagent offers batch-to-batch consistency compared with polyclonal preparations and is intended for research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.
