SHP1, encoded by the PTPN6 gene, is a non-receptor protein tyrosine phosphatase that plays a critical role in hematopoietic cell signaling and immune regulation. This recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody, supplied by Antibodies.com, is raised against SHP1 and validated for use in Western blot (WB), immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and flow cytometry (FC) workflows across human, mouse, and rat samples.

The unconjugated antibody is provided as a 100 µl liquid formulation in TBS buffer (pH 7.4) with 1% BSA, 40% glycerol, and 0.05% sodium azide as preservative, suitable for refrigerated storage at 4°C with short-term handling at room temperature during experimental setup. The rabbit host and monoclonal clonality support reproducible, lot-to-lot consistency in detection of endogenous SHP1 in lymphoid tissues, bone marrow-derived cells, and transfected expression systems.

Researchers commonly deploy this reagent to interrogate SHP1 phosphorylation status and downstream signaling in B-cell receptor, T-cell receptor, and cytokine receptor pathways, as well as to profile phosphatase expression in leukemia, lymphoma, and autoimmune disease models. Its compatibility with flow cytometry makes it particularly useful for immunophenotyping hematopoietic lineages where SHP1 acts as a negative regulator of kinase-driven signaling cascades.
