Anti-SHP-1 (Ab-536) Antibody

Sourced through Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against a synthetic peptide spanning residues 534–538 (S-E-Y-G-N) of human SHP-1, the SH2-containing non-receptor protein tyrosine phosphatase also known as PTPN6, PTP-1C, or HCP. It is supplied as a 50 µl aliquot at 1.0 mg/mL in a phosphate-buffered saline formulation (pH 7.4) containing 150 mM sodium chloride, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol, and is unconjugated for maximum flexibility in downstream labelling. The antibody is affinity-purified using the epitope-specific peptide and is validated for Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence, where it detects endogenous levels of total SHP-1 protein. Reactivity has been confirmed in human, mouse, and rat samples. For best stability, the product is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C upon arrival, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
