Anti-SHOX Antibody

Offered by Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified polyclonal reagent is raised in rabbit and is supplied as a 50 µL liquid formulation at 1 mg/mL in PBS containing 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as stabilizers. It specifically targets the Short stature homeobox (SHOX) transcription factor, also referred to by the synonyms PHOG, Pseudoautosomal homeobox-containing osteogenic protein, and Short stature homeobox-containing protein, and the antibody is unconjugated and of the IgG isotype, making it suitable for use as a primary reagent in standard immunoassays. The antibody has been validated for Western blot (WB) applications and shows reactivity with human, mouse, and rat samples, which makes it convenient for cross-species studies on SHOX function in development, growth, and disease models such as idiopathic short stature and Turner syndrome-associated growth phenotypes. For best stability and to preserve activity through multiple freeze–thaw cycles, the vial should be stored at −20 °C, and short-term storage at 4 °C is acceptable for use within a working week. Each lot is quality-controlled by Western blot and is intended for research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.
