Anti-SHC3 Antibody

Raised in rabbit and affinity-purified by epitope-specific chromatography, this polyclonal IgG reagent from Antibodies.com is directed against the Src homology 2 domain-containing-transforming protein C3 (SHC3), also known as N-Shc, Neuronal Shc, NSHC, Protein Rai, SHCC, and SH2 domain protein C3. The immunogen is a synthetic peptide derived from an internal region of human SHC3, and the antibody specifically recognizes endogenous levels of total SHC3 protein. It is supplied at 1.0 mg/mL as an unconjugated, 50 µL aliquot in phosphate buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺), pH 7.4, containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol. Validated applications include Western Blotting (WB) and Immunohistochemistry (IHC), with confirmed reactivity against human and mouse samples, making it well suited for studies of neuronal Shc signaling in both species.
