Anti-Shc (phospho-Y349) Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this is a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against Shc phosphorylated at Tyrosine 349. It is unconjugated and validated for use in Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications, with reactivity confirmed against human, mouse and rat samples.

The immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human Shc around the phosphorylation site of Tyrosine 349. The antibody specifically detects endogenous levels of Shc protein only when phosphorylated at Tyr349, and reported molecular weights are approximately 46, 52 and 66 kDa.

The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen, with purity greater than 95% by SDS-PAGE. It is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, approximately pH 7.2.
