Anti-Shc (E343) Antibody

A polyclonal antibody raised in rabbit is offered by Antibodies.com, directed against the Shc protein at the E343 epitope. The reagent is unconjugated and validated for use in Western blotting (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC) and immunoprecipitation (IP), with reactivity confirmed against human, mouse and rat samples.

The antibody was generated against a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 310–360 of human Shc and specifically detects endogenous levels of Shc protein. It is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2, and has been affinity-purified by affinity-chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen to a purity of > 95% (by SDS-PAGE). The target is observed at molecular weights of approximately 46, 52 and 66 kDa, and the product is supported by 1 scientific validation image.
