Anti-Shb (phospho-Y246) Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody recognises Shb only when phosphorylated at Tyrosine 246. It is unconjugated, validated for immunohistochemistry (IHC), and reactive with human and mouse samples [C0, S1].

The immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human Shb around the phosphorylation site of Tyrosine 246, and the reagent specifically detects endogenous levels of Shb protein only when phosphorylated at Tyr246 [S1]. The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, with a purity of > 95% by SDS-PAGE. The predicted molecular weight of the target is ~55 kDa [S1].

The product is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2 [C0, S1].
