SH3GL1 (also called Endophilin A2) is an SH3-domain-containing adaptor protein central to clathrin-mediated endocytosis, synaptic vesicle recycling, and apoptotic signaling. This polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit and validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows across human, mouse, and rat samples.

Provided as 100 µl of unconjugated antibody at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, the vial ships ready to dilute into standard blocking and incubation buffers. Researchers studying receptor internalization, vesicle trafficking in neurons, or the EEN-SH3GL1 fusion relevant to myeloid leukemia use this reagent to detect the endogenous approximately 40 kDa protein in whole-cell lysates and fixed tissue sections.

Working concentration should be titrated per application; typical starting dilutions fall between 0.5 and 2 µg/ml for Western blotting, with antigen retrieval recommended for paraffin-embedded sections in immunohistochemistry. Store aliquoted at 4°C short term or -20°C for longer retention, avoiding repeated freeze-thaw cycles to preserve binding activity.

Reactivity is limited to the listed human, mouse, and rat targets. Host species is rabbit, clonality is polyclonal, and the unconjugated format allows downstream HRP, fluorophore, or biotin labeling flexibility.
