SH2D1A, also known as SAP (SLAM-associated protein), is a 128-residue SH2-domain adapter that transduces signals from SLAM-family receptors on NK cells, T cells, and B cells. Loss-of-function mutations in the gene cause X-linked lymphoproliferative disease type 1 (XLP1, or Duncan disease), a primary immunodeficiency in which patients develop severe, often fatal immune dysregulation following Epstein-Barr virus infection. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent from Antibodies.com was raised against the human SH2D1A sequence and detects the endogenous protein in both human and mouse samples by western blot. Each 100 µl vial of primary antibody is supplied ready to dilute; aliquot on receipt and store at -20 °C, avoiding repeated freeze-thaw cycles to preserve binding activity. The polyclonal format improves recognition of multiple epitopes on the adapter, supporting reproducible signal in lymphocyte and NK cell lysates, lymphoid tissue extracts, and transfected expression controls where SH2D1A expression is highest.
