Anti-SGCD Antibody

This polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets δ-sarcoglycan (SGCD), a transmembrane glycoprotein of the dystrophin-associated complex that anchors the sarcolemma in skeletal and cardiac muscle.

Raised in rabbit, the reagent is supplied at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as a 100 µl vial, and is validated for western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence workflows on human, mouse, and rat samples.

The reagent applies to studies of limb-girdle muscular dystrophy type 2F pathogenesis, sarcoglycan complex assembly, and dilated cardiomyopathy models. Storage at -20 °C in working aliquots is recommended to limit freeze-thaw cycles of the glycerol-stabilized solution.
