Anti-SETMAR Antibody

Offered through the Antibodies.com catalog, this primary reagent is a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against SETMAR (also known as Histone-lysine N-methyltransferase SETMAR, Metnase, or SET domain and mariner transposase fusion protein). The immunogen is a recombinant protein of human SETMAR, and affinity purification using the immunogen yields a preparation that detects the endogenous level of total SETMAR in human samples. Supplied unconjugated at 1.0 mg/mL in a 50 µl volume, the antibody is formulated in phosphate-buffered saline at pH 7.4 (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺) containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol. It is validated for immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications and reacts with human specimens. For handling, the vial is shipped at 4 °C; upon receipt, aliquots should be stored at –20 °C and protected from repeated freeze/thaw cycles to preserve activity.
