Anti-SETDB2 Antibody

Offered by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody targets SETDB2 and is validated for Western blot applications. The unconjugated IgG reagent is raised in rabbit and supplied as a liquid preparation. The manufacturer's datasheet reports reactivity with mouse and rat samples, while the Antibodies.com listing additionally indicates reactivity with human samples.

The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 148-378 of human SETDB2 (NP_114121.2). Affinity-purified and formulated in phosphate buffered saline (pH 7.3) with 50% glycerol and 0.01% Thiomersal, the antibody has a reported molecular weight of 100 kDa. Concentration is lot specific.

For Western blot, a recommended dilution of 1:500-1:1,000 is suggested. The product is shipped at 4°C; upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
