Anti-SETD5 Antibody

Rabbit polyclonal IgG antibody from Antibodies.com raised against SETD5, supplied unconjugated as a liquid formulation. The antibody is reactive with human, mouse and rat samples and has been validated for Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC) and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), supported by three scientific validation images.

The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 1054–1153 of human SETD5, and the predicted molecular weight of the target is 158 kDa. Recommended starting dilutions are WB 1:500–1:1,000, IHC 1:50–1:200 and ICC/IF 1:50–1:100. The product is supplied in Phosphate Buffered Saline pH 7.3 with 50% glycerol and 0.01% Thiomersal, purified by affinity chromatography and provided at a lot-specific concentration. It is shipped at 4 °C; on arrival it should be aliquoted and stored at −20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided.

Representative data include Western blot detection of SETD5 in cell line lysates loaded at 25 µg per lane with detection by ECL, and IHC staining of paraffin-embedded rat liver and mouse brain sections at 1:100 dilution following microwave antigen retrieval in 10 mM Tris/EDTA buffer pH 9.0.
