Anti-SESN1 Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified reagent is a Rabbit polyclonal antibody directed against Sestrin-1 (SESN1), also known by the synonyms PA26 and SEST1. The antibody is raised in rabbit and is supplied as an unconjugated, ready-to-use IgG preparation at a concentration of 1.0 mg/mL in a 50 µl volume. It is formulated in phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺) at pH 7.4, containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotectant. The immunogen is a synthesized peptide derived from an internal region of human SESN1, and the antibody has been affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by epitope-specific affinity chromatography, ensuring selective detection of endogenous levels of total SESN1 protein in validated assays. Recommended applications include Western Blotting (WB) and Immunohistochemistry (IHC), and the reagent has been validated for reactivity with Human and Rat samples. For optimal preservation of activity, the product is shipped at 4 °C and, upon receipt, should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
