The Antibodies.com mouse monoclonal antibody clone 607 is directed against Serum Amyloid A (SAA), one of the major acute-phase proteins synthesized by hepatocytes in response to inflammatory stimuli. Raised in mouse and supplied as an unconjugated IgG2a reagent, this clone is identical in sequence and specificity to the widely cited NBP1-40042 reagent, giving laboratories a consistent antibody source for tracking acute-phase responses across patient cohorts.

The lyophilised preparation is provided at 100 µg per vial and is reconstituted in buffer before use, supporting long-term storage stability. Researchers use this antibody in ELISA and Western blot workflows to detect circulating SAA isoforms in human samples, where elevated concentrations are associated with active infection, chronic inflammatory disease, and certain neoplastic conditions.

Because the antibody is unconjugated, it can be paired with a labelled secondary reagent of the researcher's choice for chromogenic, fluorescent, or chemiluminescent readout. The IgG2a isotype also supports use in multiplex panels where isotype-specific secondary antibodies are required to distinguish SAA from other acute-phase markers.
