Anti-Serum Amyloid A Antibody [513]

This Mouse monoclonal antibody (clone 513) from Antibodies.com is directed against Serum Amyloid A and is supplied as a lyophilised preparation. It is of the IgG1 isotype, unconjugated, and validated for use in ELISA and WB, reacting with human samples.

The immunogen is highly purified recombinant human SAA, and the antibody recognises both natural and recombinant human SAA. Cross-reactivity studies show it does not recognise IL-1ß, IL-8, MCAF, TGF-ß or EGF. Purity is achieved by Protein G affinity chromatography.

The product is formulated in 0.01M Phosphate Buffered Saline, pH 7.2, and should be brought into solution with double distilled water; concentration is reconstitution dependent. It is shipped at 4°C and, upon delivery, should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, avoiding freeze/thaw cycles.
