Anti-Serum Amyloid A Antibody [504]

From Antibodies.com, this Mouse monoclonal antibody (clone 504) targets Serum Amyloid A and is supplied as a lyophilised preparation. It is of the IgG2b isotype and unconjugated, raised in Mouse and reactive with Human samples. The antibody has been validated for use in ELISA and WB applications.

According to the manufacturer, the antibody was raised against highly purified recombinant human SAA and recognises both natural and recombinant human SAA. It is purified by Protein G affinity chromatography and is reconstituted with double distilled water; the working concentration is reconstitution dependent. The product is formulated as a lyophilised powder from 0.01M Phosphate Buffered Saline, pH 7.2. The antibody is reported not to cross-react with IL-1ß, IL-8, MCAF, TGF-ß or EGF. It is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, avoiding freeze/thaw cycles.
