Anti-Serum Amyloid A Antibody [426]

This mouse monoclonal antibody from Antibodies.com, clone 426, targets Serum Amyloid A and is validated for use in ELISA and Western Blot applications. The unconjugated IgG2b antibody reacts with human samples and recognises both natural and recombinant human SAA. It was raised against highly purified recombinant human SAA, with the epitope associated with the Sp2/0-Ag14 cell line.

Cross-reactivity studies show that the antibody does not recognise IL-1ß, IL-8, MCAF, TGF-ß or EGF. It is supplied lyophilised from a 0.01M phosphate buffered saline solution at pH 7.2 and is purified by Protein G affinity chromatography. The concentration is reconstitution dependent, and the product is reconstituted with double distilled water.

For storage, the antibody is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at −20°C upon delivery, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
