Anti-Serum Amyloid A Antibody [291] - Identical to Thermo (MA1-21394)

This Mouse monoclonal antibody (clone 291) from Antibodies.com recognises the Serum Amyloid A (SAA) target and is supplied as a lyophilised preparation. It is unconjugated and of the IgG2b isotype, validated for use in ELISA and Western blot (WB) applications with human samples.

The antibody was raised against highly purified recombinant human SAA and recognises both natural and recombinant human SAA. Cross-reactivity testing indicates that it does not recognise IL-1ß, IL-8, MCAF, TGF-ß or EGF. The product is purified by Protein G affinity chromatography and formulated by lyophilisation from a 0.01 M Phosphate Buffered Saline solution at pH 7.2.

Storage instructions are to ship at 4 °C, aliquot on delivery and store at –20 °C, avoiding freeze/thaw cycles. The product is reconstituted with double distilled water.
