The SERPINH1 gene encodes HSP47, a 47 kDa heat shock protein that functions as a collagen-specific molecular chaperone residing in the endoplasmic reticulum of collagen-producing cells.

This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent from Antibodies.com is raised against the SERPINH1 target and is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunofluorescence (IF) workflows on human samples.

Provided as a 200 µl liquid aliquot, it supports detection of endogenous HSP47 expression in cultured human fibroblasts, hepatic stellate cells, and other collagen-secreting cell types.

Researchers studying fibrosis, connective tissue biology, osteogenesis imperfecta type X, and collagen biosynthesis disorders apply this antibody to probe HSP47 upregulation in disease models and to track chaperone interactions with procollagen I, III, and IV during ER stress.
