From Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified reagent is raised in rabbit as a polyclonal antibody directed against SERPIND1, the heparin cofactor II / serpin family D member implicated in thrombin regulation and vascular biology. The antiserum is supplied at 1.0 mg/mL in a 50 µL volume and is unconjugated, allowing it to be paired freely with secondary detection chemistries or labelled in-house. It is formulated in phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺), pH 7.4, containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, and should be stored at –20 °C with care taken to avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. Validated applications are Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC), and the antibody has been confirmed to react with Human, Mouse and Rat samples, making it suitable for cross-species studies of SERPIND1 expression in tissue lysates and fixed sections. The product is classified as a primary antibody for research use only and is part of the Antibodies.com catalogue of affinity-purified polyclonal reagents raised against recombinant human protein immunogens, with the antibody detecting the endogenous level of total SERPIND1 protein.
