Heparin Cofactor II (HCII), encoded by the SERPIND1 gene, is a serine protease inhibitor that regulates thrombin activity in plasma. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is raised against SERPIND1 and validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows on human, mouse, and rat samples. Each vial contains 100 µl of antibody, supplied as a ready-to-use polyclonal preparation suitable for probing the target in tissue sections and lysates. Researchers studying coagulation pathways, heparin binding, or vascular biology can use this reagent to detect endogenous SERPIND1 expression across experimental systems. The polyclonal format increases the likelihood of recognizing multiple epitopes on the protein, which is helpful when working with samples where target abundance is variable or where post-translational modifications may affect individual binding sites.
