From the Antibodies.com catalogue, this polyclonal reagent is raised in rabbit against SERPINC1 (Antithrombin-III, also known as AT3, ATIII or Serpin C1), the key serpin that regulates thrombin activity in the coagulation cascade. The antiserum is affinity-purified to a reported purity of greater than 95% and supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate-buffered saline containing 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, shipped as a 50 µl aliquot for long-term storage at –20 °C. The unconjugated IgG is validated for Western blotting, immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence, and has been confirmed to recognise endogenous SERPINC1 in human, mouse and rat samples, making it a versatile choice for cross-species studies of antithrombin expression in coagulation, vascular and liver research. Each lot is quality-controlled by the supplier, the molecule runs at the expected ~55 kDa band on SDS-PAGE, and the product is intended for research use only.
