Antithrombin (encoded by SERPINC1) is a circulating serine protease inhibitor that inactivates thrombin and factor Xa, the central enzymes of the coagulation cascade. This polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com, raised in rabbit and supplied at 1 mg/mL in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, detects the endogenous protein in human, mouse, and rat samples. Validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence, it supports studies of inherited antithrombin deficiency, venous thromboembolism, and hepatic regulation of plasma protease inhibitors. The unconjugated format lets researchers pair it with HRP, fluorescent, or biotinylated secondary reagents for tailored detection. Store the 100 µL aliquots at -20°C and limit freeze-thaw cycles to preserve binding activity.
