Anti-SERPINB5 Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com raised against SERPINB5 (also referred to as MASPIN), validated for Western blot (WB) applications on Human and Mouse samples. The unconjugated IgG reagent is supplied as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline, pH 7.3, containing 50% Glycerol and 0.02% Sodium Azide, and was prepared by affinity purification. The target protein is reported to have a molecular weight of 42 kDa.

The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 21–189 of human SERPINB5 (NP_002630.2). Recommended WB dilution is 1:500–1:1,000. The antibody is described as KO Validated and is accompanied by one scientific validation image. It is shipped at 4°C; on receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided.

A representative validation image shows a Western blot performed on extracts from wild-type (WT) and SERPINB5 knockout (KO) HeLa (KO) cells using the antibody at 1:1,000 dilution, with lysates loaded at 25 µg per lane. Blocking was with 3% non-fat dry milk in TBST, detection used an ECL Basic Kit, and exposure time was 5 seconds.
