Selenophosphate synthetase 1 (SEPHS1), the cytosolic enzyme responsible for synthesizing selenophosphate from selenide and ATP during selenocysteine biosynthesis, can be detected in human, mouse, and rat samples using this polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com. Raised in rabbit and supplied unconjugated as a 100 µl volume at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, the reagent is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows. The product should be stored refrigerated, and aliquoted to limit freeze-thaw cycles during long-term use. Research groups studying selenoprotein synthesis, redox homeostasis, selenium metabolism, cancer cell signaling, or antioxidant enzyme expression can apply this primary antibody to characterize expression patterns across tissues and disease model systems.
