SENP1 (Sentrin-specific protease 1) is a SUMO-specific cysteine protease that removes SUMO1, SUMO2, or SUMO3 conjugates from substrate proteins, regulating processes such as androgen receptor transcriptional activity, HIF1α stabilization under hypoxia, and mitochondrial dynamics. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent from Antibodies.com was raised against human SENP1 and is supplied as a 200 µl liquid aliquot validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) workflows on human samples. Endogenous SENP1 expression is enriched in the nucleus and cytoplasm of many cell types, making the antibody useful for studies of sumoylation-dependent signaling, prostate cancer cell biology, hypoxia-responsive transcription, and DNA damage response pathways. As a research use only reagent, it is intended for laboratory investigation of post-translational SUMO modification in cell lysates and fixed tissue sections, with reactivity confirmed against the human target.
